The Pacific Northwest (PNW) is one of America’s most beautiful regions. We might be a little bias because we’re located in the PNW, but we think you will agree it offers many hidden gems.


The PNW is made up of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho as well as a portion of British Columbia. When most people think of the PNW they think three things: rain, coffee and lots of trees. Well, they aren’t wrong, but the PNW offers so much more. Here are some of our favorite places in the PNW!


Bend, Oregon

Bend is located in Central Oregon and is one of the PNW’s premier destinations. Bend offers lakes and mountains, and views as far as the eye can see. Bend is great for hiking and biking during the day and hitting the town at night. Bend is a great getaway for couples, families and outdoorsy folks alike. Chelan, Washington

Chelan is a small town located in Central Washington. It sits on the edge of the Wenatchee National Forest. Lake Chelan is their claim to fame and visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming. Chelan also offers an abundance of vineyards and wineries. Chelan is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a vacation with the kids to get away from the city. Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Coeur d’Alene is situated on the northwestern border of Idaho. It is a quaint little city known for its restaurants and bars. The city is situated on Lake Coeur d’Alene and watersports are aplenty. If the busy little city isn’t your speed just head a couple miles out of town and you will find forests, camping, fishing, and hiking. Port Angeles, WA

Port Angeles is both a quiet community and a major seaport. It is located on the northern edge of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Port Angeles is home to some spectacular restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Those looking for a little international adventure can hop on the ferry in Port Angeles and explore beautiful Victoria, BC. Dunes City, OR

Dunes City is a small town located just south and Florence, OR and about an hour and a half from Eugene, OR. Dunes City is situated between Woahink Lake and Siltcoos Lake. While there may not be an abundance of shopping or restaurants in Dunes City, if it’s adventure and excitement you’re looking for, this is the place to go. Sun Valley, Idaho

Sun Valley is a resort town in Central Idaho. It is home to Sun Valley Resort, one of the PNW’s most spectacular lodges. Sun Valley is known for its amazing skiing at nearby Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain.sun Valley is also filled with nature trails for hiking and biking in the summer months. Of course, there are hundreds of places in the PNW that we think you would enjoy. It is a beautiful region filled with lakes, mountains, and forests as well as bustling cities filled with wineries, breweries, clubs, shopping, and restaurants. The PNW is home to some of the most delicious artisan foods and of course some amazing coffee. You will find farmers markets, flowers markets and of course fish markets. There is something for everyone in the PNW and we hope you visit soon!
