Would love it more if lasted more than 3 months

I was very pleased when I purchased this mask in May of this year. It was very comfortable and did a great job of blocking out the light.
Unfortunately in August the mask fell apart. The layers actually separated from each other.
I followed the cleaning instructions (was never put in the washing machine), I never submerged it in water, and only ever spot cleaned it.
